Yes. TraceHush is available on the Mac App Store for Apple-silicon Macs running macOS 26.2 or later and Safari 26.2 or later. One active subscription can be used on supported iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Install and open TraceHush on each device, restore purchases if needed, and enable the Safari extension separately. Protection preferences and allowed websites stay local to each device and do not synchronize.

TraceHush works only in Safari, not inside the YouTube app, games, social apps, or other apps. A listed advertising host used on a YouTube webpage may be blocked, but TraceHush does not promise to remove YouTube video ads.

TraceHush first blocks covered advertising requests before they load, then uses on-device page cleanup to hide reviewed ad placements and some delayed replacement ads. Websites change frequently, so an unrecognized ad or a small blank space may occasionally remain. Reload the page after a TraceHush update. If a page does not work correctly, pause TraceHush for that website and reload it.

Pause TraceHush on that site and reload. If that fixes the problem, email the website hostname and a short description to support@tracehush.com. Do not include passwords, payment information, private messages, or sensitive page content. You can remove the exception later from Allowed Websites.

No. Safari applies TraceHush's packaged request-blocking rules, and TraceHush temporarily processes limited page structure on your device to hide reviewed ad placements. Safari requires website access so TraceHush can hide reviewed ad containers and replacement ads that appear after a page first loads. This processing happens only on your device. Some websites insert or replace ads after the first page load. TraceHush watches for reviewed ad structures while the page is open and hides matching placements on your device. A short delay may occasionally be visible on a newly changed website.

TraceHush offers a $1.99 monthly subscription and a $7.99 annual subscription through Apple's StoreKit. Eligible first-time monthly subscribers may receive a 7-day introductory trial. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it automatically converts to the monthly subscription at Apple's displayed price. The annual subscription has no introductory trial. Both subscriptions renew automatically until canceled through Apple. Apple confirms eligibility, localized price, tax, and renewal details before purchase.

Open TraceHush and choose Restore Purchases to ask Apple to restore an eligible entitlement. Choose Manage Subscription to review or cancel renewal through Apple. Deleting the app does not by itself cancel a subscription.

TraceHush periodically refreshes subscription access with Apple. Open the containing app once while connected, then return to Safari. This check does not send browsing activity to Apple or TraceHush.

Use Allowed Websites in the TraceHush app to add, search, or remove a hostname. To pause or resume the website currently open in Safari, open TraceHush from Safari's Extensions menu.

TraceHush's paid-release policy requires filter-source review at least every 14 days. Any approved changes are compiled, tested, and delivered through signed TraceHush app updates; the extension does not silently download remote rules. Compatibility reports sent to support help identify websites that may need review.
