The short version

TraceHush is a Safari-only ad and tracker blocker offered through Apple's App Store. Use of the app is governed by Apple's Standard EULA. This page provides supplemental product and subscription information.

1. Service scope

TraceHush applies packaged declarative blocking rules and limited on-device page cleanup in Safari on supported iPhone and iPad devices. It is not a VPN, DNS proxy, device-wide filter, security guarantee, or blocker for advertisements inside other apps.

2. Subscription options

The monthly subscription is $1.99 per month. Eligible first-time monthly subscribers may receive a 7-day introductory trial. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to the monthly subscription at the App Store's displayed price. The annual subscription is $7.99 per year and has no introductory trial. Apple determines offer eligibility, taxes, currency conversion, and localized storefront pricing, so the price displayed by the App Store at confirmation controls if it differs from this page.

3. Billing and renewal

Purchases are charged to your Apple Account and handled by StoreKit. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current trial or subscription period. Use Manage Subscription in the TraceHush app, or Apple's subscription settings, to review or cancel renewal. Deleting TraceHush does not by itself cancel a subscription.

4. Trials, restoration, and refunds

The 7-day introductory trial is limited to the monthly product and only appears when Apple reports that an account is eligible. Apple's purchase sheet displays the current trial, post-trial price, and renewal details before confirmation. Restore Purchases asks StoreKit to restore an eligible entitlement. Refund requests and billing decisions are handled by Apple under its policies.

5. Acceptable use and availability

You may use TraceHush for lawful personal use on supported devices under Apple's Standard EULA. Safari, websites, filter sources, and Apple platform behavior can change. TraceHush cannot guarantee that every advertisement or tracker will be blocked, and some sites may need an allowed-site exception.

6. Privacy

TraceHush has no account, analytics, advertising SDK, browsing-history database, or developer-operated server. Shared preferences and user-approved hostnames remain on the device in a TraceHush App Group. See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Filter maintenance

TraceHush's paid-release policy requires filter-source review at least every 14 days. Any approved changes are delivered through signed App Store updates, not silently downloaded by the extension. Release timing may depend on testing and Apple review, and an update is not promised merely to change a version number when no safe, useful filter change is available.

8. Governing terms and support
